Spooky house clearing: Lighting up

Tom opened the windows and doors to let the joystick smoke flow from the house and managed to stop the smoke alarm from screeching.

Clifford, the spirit and I joined the others downstairs and I started to relay Clifford’s concerns, no sooner had I mentioned leaving a light on that a knowing and slightly bemused look flashed between Tom and his partner Sheila; ‘what?’ I enquired of them. Tom had often been adamant he turned the landing light off only to see it back on again, similar happenings had occurred with other lights in the house. Tom said it had become so common place that he gave up turning the landing light off and left it on all of the time now!
We had to laugh, it seems Clifford got his point across without my intervention on that one.

Tom assured Clifford that the electrics had recently been re-wired and he promised to check all of the windows were safe for children. We walked around the house and garden with Clifford in tow, asking about the safety of it all.

Although Clifford was happy about Tom’s efforts and his promise to keep the house safe in future, he was still not willing to move on. Clifford was not ‘Stuck’ in the house, neither was it stopping him from being with his wife. He had been popping back and forth keeping an eye on it for some time but more so once he knew it was to have new tenants.

Wanted: cleaner for spirits!

Tom called me recently with an interesting request; ‘Do you cleanse houses Helen?’
‘If it is a cleaner you are looking for then the answer is a definite NO, if you are talking about cleansing from spirits then, yes I do’ I replied

Tom had a house he lived in for a few years but was always uneasy in there, feeling he was being watched at times, other times having a feeling of disapproval. Whilst he felt uneasy he was managing to live with it but now he intended to rent the house and wished it to be clear of any spirits before doing so.

I love this work, it always excites me; meeting new spirits and hearing their stories then setting them on a better path, helping both the living and the dead. They always have an interesting yarn to tell, unfortunately sometimes sad but always a fascinating insight into the past, be it recent past or distant.

I was to meet Tom at his terraced house in North London. As I sat in my car five minutes early I thought of how many people must have passed this way in the years since it had been built and how many spirits were still there: this could be a long job! Tom was accompanied by two ladies who, as we entered the newly decorated and sparsely furnished lounge, asked if it would be okay to light a jostick. I had no problems with this.

The smoke and smell from the jostick wafted around the rooms and up the stairs as I talked to Tom and attuned myself to the house, within minutes I was aware of a spirit up stairs....

Spirit the Hungarian circus pony stops for tea.

Although Spirit was getting around well on the soft grass of the field, his poorly feet were giving him trouble on the yard so Jessica made the decision to have the farrier make a pair of new shoes with cushion soles for him. She gave Spirit some rescue remedy and other sedatives to keep him calm, as the process was likely to take a couple of hours. So when I turned up to add my healing to the mix he was already looking quite chilled.

The farrier was so kind to him and understood his ways so well, they had known each other for some years now and had a mutual respect. Shoes were forged and then adjusted on site, screws were fixed, legs were lifted and placed back down, the process was continuous for some time and little Spirit was being very good.

Tea was offered all round and mugs were brought out to the yard as the farrier worked his magic. Jessica, with mug of tea in hand, stayed close to Spirit all of the time, holding his rope and soothing his head (something she rarely had the chance to do without sedation. Spirit that is not Jessica!) Her attention was drawn to the farrier when she felt a nudge at her hand holding the tea; there was Spirit lapping the cooled tea from Jessica’s mug! We all watched him finish it off. Even in a half dazed state he managed to turn a tense situation into laughter with his comedy act.

Do you have a pony that drinks tea?

Snoring Jenny

I met a lovely new dog called Jenny, along with her owner, Paula.
Jenny dog is of mixed race and suffering with Addison’s disease and pancreatitis  (http://www.2ndchance.info/addison%27s.htm).

On top of this her owner Paula has a stressful life which cannot help but rub off on Jenny.

Her conventional vet and her homeopathic vet are treating the Addisons which seems to be starting to kick in but Paula is worried about Jenny’s lack of energy and stressed state. Richard Allport suggested she bring Jenny dog to see me.

Paula was quite up-front from the start she said ‘I’m not sure why I am here, I told all my friends I’d probably be in and out in five minutes as there is no way Jenny will sit still for healing let alone react to it’. Like a red rag to a bull for me, I gave her a wry smile and said, ‘well lets see what I can do shall we’.

Jenny was plodding around my small room thinking about sitting down on numerous occasions then off she would go again. Instead of pinning her into a corner I decided to work on her from a distance first, just to slow her down a little: I concentrated on her mind, giving out relaxing, safe energies as she grew more and more weary. Within a couple of minutes she had settled on the floor by the door where I joined her.

I placed my hand on her head and started my usual healing method. I could hear and see the shock of Paula as dear Jenny succumbed to the healing energies.
By the time I was finished Jenny dog was out for the count on the floor, gently snoring, Paula was thrilled and amazed adding ‘My friends will not believe it!’ It took us a while to wake Jenny up to go home.
I have since seen her a couple more times and she is doing very well.
